Overview of partial model query language

The exchange of partial model data has been a hot topic because of an increase in the use of model server applications on the Internet. When considering the interaction between model server and clients, what is important, is flexibility, programmability and Internet friendly ability to realize the exchange of partial models. The Partial Model Query Language, PMQL was designed for this purpose. The PMQL is an XML language that enables the selection of a particular group of objects in the data set.
