Abstract
Abstract This book provides an introduction to and overview of vegetable and spice peppers and consolidates the many aspects of pepper research, i.e. taxonomy, breeding and biotechnology, production, harvesting, postharvest handling and disorders, pests and diseases, among others. The chemical composition of various Capsicum species are also presented.
