Abstract
Highly uniform SnO 2 nanowires , with bulk electronic properties directed by their surface chemistry, have been produced by isolating and oxidizing tin nanowires selected from a template‐synthesized array. The nanowires act as sensitive, fast, stable, and reproducible gas sensors that can be easily integrated into a multi‐component array (see Figure).
