Abstract
A novel approach to functionalize graphene with large aromatic donor and acceptor molecules consisting of nanographene units is presented, producing an unprecedented class of graphene and nanographene composites with tunable electronic properties. The stability of aqueous dispersion of graphene sheets is greatly enhanced, and a large number of monolayer and double-layer graphene sheets could be facilely fabricated on the substrates Detailed facts of importance to specialist readers are published as ”Supporting Information”.
