Abstract

Objective

The aim was to examine the incidence and prevalence of PHPT within a racially mixed population.

Design

A descriptive epidemiologic study was performed. PATIENTS/SETTING: The study population included 3.5 million enrollees within Kaiser Permanente Southern California.
