Abstract
Previous results are revised and extended. Most of the former conclusions are notably strengthened. \nOver 2000 shallow shocks and about 1000 deep-focus shocks are located. Magnitudes of \ndeep shocks are assigned for the first time. Ninety-two great earthquakes (magnitudes 7 3/4 or over) \nhave been identified for 1904-1945, and 334 major shocks (7.0 to 7.7) for 1918-1945. Geographical \nresults are presented in a new set of maps.
