Indexed incrossref
Abstract
The 2015 National Security Strategy “…provides a vision and strategy for advancing the nation's interests, universal values, and a rules-based international order through strong and sustainable American leadership. The Strategy sets out the principles and priorities that describe how America will lead the world toward greater peace and a new prosperity…” The 2006 National Security Strategy emphasized America's support for democracy as a means of ending tyranny, because democratic regimes are the most stable and will provide the most security for the United States” This chapter presents extracts from both strategies.
