Water quality modelling in ephemeral streams receiving urban flows

The final issue of the European Union research project INNOVATION 10340I is here reported. On the basis of the data collected during a field survey campaign, concerning quantity and quality aspect of the Savena river and the part of the Bologna urban catchment discharging to it, a sewerage model and a river model were built and validated. These tools were analyzed in order to evaluate their effectiveness with respect to the application of the UPM (Urban Pollution Management) procedure.
