Abstract
This study contributes to the growing body of literature on gender representation in educational materials by critically examining an Arabic language textbook used at the lower secondary level.The findings reveal a systematic pattern of gender asymmetry, where male characters are predominantly positioned within public, agentive, and productive roles, while female characters are consistently associated with domestic and supportive domains.
