Abstract

Abstract Organizational structure is the formal decision‐making framework by which job tasks are divided, grouped, and coordinated. Traditionally, an organization's structure can take the functional, divisional, and/or matrix forms. The process of choosing and implementing a particular organizational structure is captured in the term “structuring organizations.”
