Abstract

Electron-deficient Ru sites at Ru/Co(OH) 2 heterointerfaces weaken the d–p orbital hybridization ability and further facilitate the desorption of ammonia intermediates, thereby achieving ultrahigh nitrate electroreduction activity towards ammonia.
