Diabetes mellitus in the Russian Federation: dynamics of epidemiological indicators according to the Federal Register of Diabetes Mellitus for the period 2010–2022

BACKGROUND. The clinical and epidemiological characteristics of diabetes mellitus (DM) and the quality of its therapy are the key prognostic dominant that determines the organizational aspects of the diabetic service. The continuous dynamic monitoring of DM has been carried out in the Russian Federation (RF) since 1996 through the activities of the Federal Register of Diabetes Mellitus (FDR). AIMS.
