Abstract
This paper provides a synergistic review of the current scenario and future prospects of aluminum metal matrix composites (AMMCs). AMMCs are advanced materials that have garnered significant attention in recent years due to their unique characteristics, including high strength, low density, and excellent wear resistance. This review covers various aspects of AMMCs, including processing techniques, mechanical and physical properties, microstructural features, and applications.
