Abstract

Abstract Piezocatalysis and piezo‐photocatalysis technology is a continuously developing catalytic technology based on the piezoelectric effect of catalysts, which breaks the barrier between mechanical and chemical energy. The piezoelectric polarization field formed by the mechanical deformation of piezoelectric materials is proven to effectively manipulate band structures, improve the separation of electron‐hole pairs and enhance the catalytic activity, thus alleviating energy crises and environmental issues.
