Abstract
Abstract Hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) is a crucial chemical applied in various industry sectors. However, the current industrial anthraquinone process for H 2 O 2 synthesis is carbon‐intensive. With sunlight and renewable electricity as energy inputs, photocatalysis and electrocatalysis have great potential for green H 2 O 2 production from oxygen (O 2 ) and water (H 2 O). Herein, we review the advances in pairing two‐electron O 2 reduction and two‐electron H 2 O oxidation reactions for dual‐pathway H 2 O 2 synthesis.
