The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Indexed incrossref

Abstract

Six years have passed since the first iteration of this handbook was published.A lot has changed since.Whereas in pre-GDPR times, data protection-related judgements by the European Court of Justice were still kind of an "event" that you could "look forward to" and prepare for months, it is now a challenge to keep up with the plethora of data protection-related decisions by courts and supervisory authorities. On top of this, a lot of additional laws regulating the digital space have been passed at European level, which in turn is also influencing data protection and IT security regulations-NIS2, DORA, DSA, DMA, AI Act, CRA; the list goes on and on.
