Abstract
Within the context of globalization, it is imperative that we gain an enhanced understanding of factors affecting integrated cargo shipping systems to respond to the growth of global trade. This becomes ever more salient in a COVID and post COVID world. In this chapter, we discuss the logistics and supply chain management of cargo shipping systems from four perspectives, in terms of reliability, availability, testability, and maintainability.
