Abstract
Rising global energy demands, depleting fossil fuel reserves, and growing environmental concerns have led to an increasing demand for clean and renewable energy sources. Recently, microalgae biofuels have emerged as a promising and sustainable energy source due to their high biomass productivity, lipid content, and wastewater treatment capabilities. However, the viability of microalgae biofuels as a commercial-scale renewable fuel remains uncertain due to high production costs and storage stability issues.
