Abstract
The relationship between 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) status and cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the diabetes population still needs to be clarified. This study aimed to explore the association of 25(OH)D with CVD and cardiometabolic risk factors in Chinese population with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). This cross-sectional study was performed with 1378 hospitalized patients with T2DM. Participants were classified into three groups according to the serum 25(OH)D levels: vitamin D adequate, vitamin D insufficiency and vitamin D deficient.
