Mega-exhibitions and the Antinomies of a Transnational Global Form (2003-4)

This chapter is a survey of mega-exhibitions of contemporary art, such as biennials, triennials, and the five-yearly exhibition at Kassel, Documenta, interpreted as manifestations of the antinomic forces constituting the postcolonial constellation. The chapter is a major statement about these most contemporary kinds of exhibition.
