Gravity from Universal Phase Coherence: Why All Matter Falls Together

Abstract

We propose that gravitational attraction arises from universal phase coherence: all matter shares a common phase origin (φ₀) inherited from the initial symmetry-breaking event. In Fourier analysis, coherence C_xy(f) = 1 when two signals maintain a constant phase relationship. We demonstrate that if all matter shares the same initial phase — regardless of frequency (mass) — then gravitational interaction follows necessarily from constructive interference. The key insight is the separation of carrier and envelope: each particle oscillates at its Compton frequency ωᵢ = mᵢc²/ℏ (the carrier, determining mass), but all particles share the same envelope phase φ₀ (determining gravitational interaction).
