Abstract

Steroidal compounds lie at the crossroads of inflammation and cancer, where modulation of common signaling pathways creates opportunities for dual-action therapeutic intervention. Accumulating evidence indicates that their anti-inflammatory and antitumor activities are frequently interconnected, reflecting shared molecular mechanisms that regulate immune signaling, oxidative stress, cell proliferation, and apoptosis.
