Recent advancements and perspectives in lithium-ion battery technology
Abstract
This paper aims to present a timely review of recent developments and perspectives on Lithium-Ion Battery (LIB) technologies regarding sustainable development, electrochemical efficiency, and machine learning models for forecasting the availability of services such as vehicle-to-home. The paper argues that the world is increasingly demanding sustainable, reliable energy sources because current sources are unstable and fossil-fuel-dependent. Research shows that 85 % or more of the world's energy comes from non-renewable sources, including natural gas, coal, and oil, underscoring the world's persistent reliance on fossil fuels.
