The Triad as an Unavoidable Foundation of Determinate Discourse
Indexed indatacite
Abstract
Determinacy alone forces a triad of Identity, Validation, and Unity. This preprint provides a semantics-first reconstruction of the triad result in Minimal Structural Requirements for Consistent Ontology (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18295703). Using an intentionally weak discourse frame (sentences, cases, satisfaction), it shows that determinacy on an asserted domain entails three role-necessary constraints: content invariance (Identity), truth-evaluability via satisfaction (Validation), and global coherence for genuinely global claims (Unity). A final corollary shows that any determinate denial presupposes the same roles.
