Abstract Aiming at the problem that the traditional dynamic matrix control (TDMC) strategy cannot synergistically optimize control performance and economic performance, this paper proposes an improved dynamic matrix control (IDMC) strategy based on the synergistic optimization of control performance and economic performance. Firstly, a novel objective function is introduced into the TDMC framework that can synergistically optimize the control performance and economic performance of the control system.
