Interfacial engineering principles for hard carbon anodes in sodium-ion batteries: from mechanisms to synergistic strategies

Abstract
To overcome low-ICE and short-life in hard carbon anodes, this review establishes a synergistic three-pillar framework, encompassing structural regulation, surface coating, and presodiation, to address interfacial failure and unstable SEI film.
