One-Dimensional Zr-Substituted Phosphotungstate with Proton Conductivity
Indexed incrossrefpubmed
Abstract
A one-dimensional chainlike Zr-substituted phosphotungstate {[NH2(CH3)2]8H6[(Zr2O4)P2W16O60]·10H2O}n (1), was synthesized via a conventional aqueous solution method, employing the hexavacant Dawson-type precursor [H2P2W12O48]12–. Compound 1 features a rare divacant [P2W16O60]14– building unit, interconnected into a one-dimensional sinusoidal chain structure through the {Zr2O4} connectors. This compound demonstrates excellent proton conductivity, achieving a high conductivity of 5.30 × 10–3 S·cm–1 at 348 K.
