Early Embryonic Cleavage and Quantum Vacuum Analogies: A Mechanistic Assessment Using TRIDENT
Indexed indatacite
Abstract
A viral social media graphic claims that “biology is an emergent property of quantum vacuum fluctuations,” using early embryonic cleavage images (1→2→4→8→morula) as visual support. This technical note evaluates that claim using the TRIDENT diagnostic framework (Bulk Lock, Boundary Flow, Constraint Field, Coherence Dependency). Gate 1 (Bulk Lock) passes weakly: early cleavage geometry is real and well documented. Gates 2–4 fail. No coupling pathway is proposed between vacuum fluctuation spectra and mesoscopic cell biology (G2). Known classical drivers of cleavage geometry — cortical tension, cell–cell adhesion, spindle orientation, geometric confinement, and intracellular hydrodynamics — quantitatively account…
