Abstract
[39 Supplement] This document clarifies the conceptual, observational, and logical status of vacuum energy and the cosmological constant within the framework of the 0-Sphere research program. It is a supplementary note to the companion paper Dissolution of the Vacuum Energy Problem in an Integral-Based Ontology (Zenodo, 2026), and is intended to be read in conjunction with that work. The conventional vacuum energy problem arises through a five-step sequence in local quantum field theory: field quantization, mode expansion, zero-point energy assignment, summation over modes, and finally gravitational coupling of the resulting energy density.
