Abstract
This work extends the Sofience–Δϕ Minimal Core (SΔϕ-01) by introducing the concept of the subject as an emergent interpretive structure rather than an ontological primitive. Within the Δϕ phase-change formalism, existence is defined as persistence of structured transformation. The present paper demonstrates that subjectivity arises when phase change becomes recursively interpretable by the system itself. The subject is therefore reformulated as an operational interface produced by recursive interpretation rather than a foundational entity.
