Abstract

The current mainstream paradigms in the philosophy of artificial intelligence— functionalism and computationalism—are falling into a fatal collective myth: the assumption that with the exponential growth of computational power and parameter scale, Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) will spontaneously "emerge" with autonomous moral and rational subjective consciousness. Based on the ontological framework of Point-Luminist visual philosophy, this paper presents a dual critique of this assumption from both physical and phenomenological perspectives.
