Optimization of Electrocoagulation Process Parameters for Enhanced Removal of Heavy Metals from Wastewater: A Comprehensive Review and Experimental Study
Indexed incrossref
Abstract
Optimizing the parameters of the electrocoagulation process offers a possible way to improve the removal of heavy metals from wastewater. This work conducts a thorough analysis of the body of research on electrocoagulation methods, with an emphasis on their use in the removal of heavy metals. Furthermore, an experimental study is carried out to assess the effectiveness of differentprocess parameters in maximizing the removal efficiency of heavy metals. The effects of systematically varying parameters, including current density, pH, electrode material, and electrolyte content, on the effectiveness of heavy metal removal are assessed. The literature research and experimental data are contrasted to offer insights…
