Abstract
Faience ushabti of the Viceroy of Kush Hori I (UB-014) — Object documentation, Beckers Collection (Aachen) Small mummiform faience ushabti with whitish glaze and dark brown to purplish-brown painted details, produced for Hori I, Viceroy of Kush under Ramesses III and IV (20th Dynasty, c. 1150–1100 BCE), from the tomb of Hori I at Tell Basta (Bubastis). The object belongs to a closely defined series of small faience ushabtis documented in scholarship since Habachi (1957) and most recently surveyed by de Haan (2019).
