Abstract

Traditional frameworks analyze virtuality and actuality in isolated domains, lacking a unified, first-principles foundation that bridges microphysics to macro-civilizational evolution. This paper develops The Ontology of Xu and Shi within Energy-Efficiency Theory (EET), grounded strictly in Core Rules v5.7. We define Shi as the functional-layer projection of constrained-state energy---structural maintenance power locked behind topological barriers. \textbf{Xu} is the functional projection of free-state energy flux---unconstrained responsive and dissipative power.
