Neural Oscillations Across the Tree of Life Occupy a Single Planck-Frequency Address
Indexed indatacite
Abstract
We introduce the Planck Lattice, a logarithmic coordinate system referenced to the Planck frequency (f_P ≈ 1.855 × 10^43 Hz), where address a(f) = |log₁₀(f / f_P)|. Surveying 32 species from 7 phyla, we find that all 24 species with complex neural circuitry (Neural Complexity Index = Complex) produce waking oscillations at a single integer address (42, spanning 5.87–58.7 Hz), while 8 species with simpler architectures occupy addresses 42–44. This concentration is statistically significant (exact hypergeometric p = 1.5 × 10⁻⁶; Monte Carlo p
