Abstract

We propose an Information Dynamics framework. Here “dynamics” means the field is not static; it is driven by a competition between self‑organization (creating order) and dissipation (breaking order). The balance of these two forces is measured by a single number, the information purity \(p_{\mathrm{ID}}\) . To understand what the information field is, consider how a computer works. A programmer writes a high‑level program (say Python). That code is translated into binary machine code that the CPU executes. The machine code is real and determines what the computer does.
