P40 Partial Collapse in CCEGA: Ultracompact Objects as a Third Endpoint of Stellar Evolution

Indexed indatacite

Abstract

[Correction note, April 2026]: Phase boundaries updated following P34 v2.0 and P36 v2.0. M_max = 4.56 M☉ (was 4.26), M_crit = 12.0 M☉ (was 9.20). Third stellar evolution endpoint (ultracompact regime) now spans 4.56–12.0 M☉. GW190814 and GW230529 candidates reassessed under updated boundaries. Physical mechanism unchanged. See P36 v2.0 (doi:10.5281/zenodo.19858391).
