Abstract
BU64 develops a plain, non-mystified account of Turiya and source-position continuity under the $B_U$ framework. The paper begins by separating three layers that are often confused: cinematic narrative, the Upanishadic concept of Turiya, and direct lived experience. The cinematic layer may use images of nonlinear time or higher-dimensional space, but it remains a projection-level metaphor. The Upanishadic layer identifies Turiya as the “fourth,” beyond waking, dreaming, and deep sleep.
