Argira Sonification Pipeline – Extended version v16 (N=47, r=0.9289) – not peer-reviewed

[EN] This is an extended version (v16) of the Argira sonification pipeline. It is not the ICAD 2026 paper. The peer‑reviewed ICAD paper, version v10 (N=45, r=0.8869). This deposit contains a later, non‑peer‑reviewed extension with a larger dataset and additional validation. Dataset and method A dataset of 47 public‑domain artworks (15 artists) was used. The Visual Texture Irregularity (VTI) – defined as the mean absolute difference between neighbouring pixels – was mapped linearly to a sonic frequency: F = 200 + VTI × 800 Hz.
