This cluster of papers focuses on the genetic, pharmacologic, and physiological aspects of lipid metabolism, particularly the role of ANGPTL3, lipoprotein lipase, and related proteins in regulating triglyceride levels and their implications for cardiovascular diseases such as familial chylomicronemia syndrome and atherosclerosis.
